We come to you >> One hour lessons >> Flexible scheduling
| Puppy Program
Comprehensive plan to get you and your puppy started on the right path with potty training, crate training, name recognition, socialization, and managing puppy nipping/biting. Addressing these areas early on in your puppy’s development are crucial in order to avoid behavior problems later in life.
We recommend scheduling your first lesson before your puppy arrives or soon thereafter to help set you and your puppy up for success during their first few weeks home.
Basic obedience training starts when your puppy is more mature, when they are approximately 12-16 weeks old.
Some additional examples of what we cover:
Sit, Down
Stay/Wait (impulse control)

| Leash Reactivity Training
Are you ready to finally enjoy your walks with your dog?
Does your dog react to other dogs, people, squirrels/rabbits, loud noises, cars, or bicycles while on walks?
Are you tired of having to constantly be on high alert yourself to avoid your dog’s triggers?
These issues can be incredibly stressful for both you and your dog and there is a way to fix it!
How it works:
Promote engagement: we want your dog to engage with YOU
Leash Training: First we make sure your dog has a solid and clear understanding what they SHOULD be doing on leash
Teach them what behaviors are not appropriate while on leash (barking, lunging, etc) & liberally reward those that are!

| Off-Leash Training
Even the most well trained dogs have the potential to ignore your well trained commands, especially when faced with a distraction more tempting than any reward you could ever provide. For this reason, we train with the e-collar to ensure your dog is reliable off leash.
The e-collar we use does not function as a traditional “shock collar.” Instead, we use low levels that do not hurt or scare your dog. During the initial training, e-collar levels never rise above what your dog is able to feel but is not annoyed by. Once your dog clearly understands what is being asked of them, it is possible for the e-collar level to go up if they do not follow your cues when asked.
Your dog has to have completed our basic obedience program, puppy program, OR has received a solid training foundation elsewhere (this will be assessed by your trainer)
To be safely trusted off leash, your dog must be proficient in the following areas before beginning our off leash/advanced obedience program
Come when called
“Heel” walking by your side
No
